Public proof should show safe status labels, not private ID evidence.
What private ID review may involve
If enabled, Private ID Review may involve reviewing identity-related evidence such as document images, selfie evidence, liveness evidence, or related proof materials. During BETA, this may be limited, manual, or available only to selected test users.
What public proof should not expose
Public proof pages should not expose private ID images, document numbers, address, date of birth, selfie images, liveness videos, or private review materials. Public proof should show status labels only.
Approval is not automatic
Access to a review workflow does not automatically approve a proof signal. Public proof should only update when the required evidence has been reviewed and the related status has been changed appropriately.
BETA review status
During BETA, a Private ID Review signal may show as unavailable, pending, completed, rejected, revoked, or hidden depending on the user's access level and review state.
Not a legal identity guarantee
Pherify's private review process, especially during BETA, should not be treated as a government identity certificate, background check, criminal record check, or legal assurance.
Privacy rule
Status can be public. Private evidence should stay private.
Pherify public proof is designed to communicate status without exposing sensitive review materials.
